Course: Finding the New in Old Types

This studio, offered by Charles Rose Architects, will investigate two architectural types in response to the aspirations, habits, and cultural outlook of the Millennial Generation (GenY). The first half of the semester will focus on retail; the second on housing. The studio will explore: creative programming, the architectural narrative, character and identity, tectonics, and architecture in relationship to site.
