Client: Feinberg Hanson LLP
Scope: Relocation of law firm’s headquarters; new 8,000 sf office
Charles Rose Architects relocated Feinberg Hanson LLP’s offices from Wellesley to a new downtown Boston location. We assisted the client by evaluating three Boston-based sites. Ultimately, we selected a space on Boylston Street across from the newly renovated Prudential Tower with striking views in all directions—including commanding views of the Charles River and Cambridge.
Our client desired a contemporary office space that would balance playfully vibrant colors with a sophisticated neutral palette, strategically using color to transform the outdated office. In response to their desire to work collaboratively, we employed floor-to-ceiling glass walls, created informal meeting spaces, and established a central café that serves as the “living room” and office’s social hub. The café features a communal table, lounge seating, and an abstract graphic mural, designed specifically for the space. The program also includes a reception area, large boardroom, two conference rooms, twelve partner offices, four paralegal stations, and dedicated storage and filing rooms.
